Steve |
Steve Wood brings many years of experience in surgical and ophthalmological assisting to The St. George Eye Center. He originally obtained certification in Surgical Technology, then spent several additional years training in ophthalmology to perform as an Ophthalmic Medical Technician. He has had certifications from VISX Technologies and Bausch and Lomb Surgical for assisting in laser vision correction, as well as extensive training and certification from the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel (JCAHPO) and the Association of Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology (ATPO). He has been caring for patients in ophthalmology since 1995, and has assisted in thousands of surgical procedures since 1992. Besides Ophthalmology, Steve loves spending time with his family in any way possible and enjoying the outdoors mountain biking, hiking, camping, or using any other excuse to take advantage of our mountains and other beautiful surroundings. |

Dar
|
Dar is the Front Office Supervisor at the St. George Eye Center. She has been working in Ophthalmology for the past eight years and loves it. She enjoys serving the patients that come to the St. George Eye Center and makes an effort to ensure each patient has an exceptional experience. During her eight years she has worked in various capacities including: LASIK Coordinator, Receptionist, Billing, Medical Records, and her current position as Front Office Supervisor. She has three wonderful children and loves being a mother. She enjoys scrapbooking, interior decorating, road trips and traveling. |

Marcee |
Marcee was born and raised in Manti,Utah. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Education. Prior to joining the team at the St. George Eye Center, Marcee worked for Jostens. Marcee recently tied the knot with the love of her life and loves being married. She enjoys boating, reading, running, and spending time with family and friends. Marcee is excited to be a part of the St. George Eye Center and looks forward to serving the community. |
